The rapid and qualitative development that the world is witnessing is not limited to a specific science, but rather includes all sciences and specializations, including physical education sciences, which have greatly and effectively contributed to raising the name of many countries in global arenas, and sport today has become a part of the life of the individual and society alike, contributing widely. It is significant in developing many aspects at the individual and societal levels, including health, economic, social, and others. Our Iraq is the cradle of civilizations and the source of knowledge, as there are many platforms of knowledge represented by universities, beacons of science and knowledge, including our distinguished university, which has opened its arms to its children to contribute and advance in many aspects of the various sciences that serve humanity, to have a clear imprint among its fellow universities in raising the name of our beloved Iraq on the one hand and serving... Society on the other hand. Today, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences represents beacon and a scientific edifice that serves all segments of society and its distinguished staff, whose responsibility it is to prepare an elite of conscious and educated young people to play their desired role in pushing the wheel of progress forward and contributing to the development of society.
